I can remember the day I made my first affiliate commissions.
It was December 2018.
I was in a completely different niche then.
Would you believe I was in the Law of Attraction niche?
Lol.
I picked that particular niche as, at the time, it showed to be a profitable niche with a tool I had access to at the time.
I had been building my list with solo ads.
And got a list of around 900 or so subscribers.
I promoted a product from ClickBank, as most newbies tend to do.
That day, I decided to promote a product that had to do with freelancing…
(I read that sometimes you could promote stuff from a different niche, as some people would also have other areas of interest.)
The product was for My Freelance Paycheck. Interestingly, I’ve found someone promoting this on LinkedIn dated February this year.
From what I can remember, I only promoted this for three days. And because it has a monthly subscription, I also got recurring commissions.
(So, not only did I make my first commissions I also got a Brucey bonus in recurring commissions, lol.)
I logged into my ClickBank account and couldn’t believe I made my first commission and that it was for $263.37.
Talk about blown away.
And from then on, I was hooked.
