I had a great laugh watching this…

Earlier today, as it was a nice day, I mowed the back garden.

After my lad insisted I watch a film with him on Netflix…

The film is “Spy”, and it’s about a desk-bound CIA analyst named Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy).

Who volunteers to go undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer and prevent a diabolical global disaster…

And I tell you I was laughing throughout this film…

Rick Ford (Jason Statham) in one scene says to Susan Cooper:
“You really think you’re ready for the field?

I once used defibrillators on myself.

I put shards of glass in my fuckin’ eye.

I’ve jumped from a high-rise building using only a raincoat as a parachute and broke both legs upon landing; I still had to pretend I was in a fucking Cirque du Soleil show!

I’ve swallowed enough microchips and shit them back out again to make a computer.

This arm has been ripped off completely and re-attached with this fuckin’ arm.”

If you haven’t watched this or even if you have and you want a good laugh, then I definitely recommend watching this.

Now, why am I telling you this?

Two reasons:

1. There’s nothing like watching a good film that makes you laugh.

2. There’s a good morale in this film.

Susan Cooper was a deskbound CIA agent – she let her fear stop her from even attempting to be in the field.

And a lot of people do this in areas of their lives, too.

Take my wife, for example, last year was the first time ever that we all had a holiday abroad.

Because she was that afraid of going on a plane, even though she’d never been on one.

Though she hated the flight and swore blind at the time she’d never step foot on another plane again, lol.

(But at least she gave it a go, even if she didn’t like it. And she’s now even doing it again this year!)

And that’s the same with this online thing.

The thought of building an email list and sending out emails to that list fills some people with dread.

I know what that’s like, I’ve been there… but you know what?

It might NOT be as bad as you think – sure, the first dozen or so emails you send will stink, but they WILL get better the more you do them.
