He’s a bigger draw for the company than two of its all-time highest pay-per-view sellers:e
Former champs Brock Lesnar and Georges St-Pierr.
McGregor is hated by many of his fighting comrades – everyone wanted to see him get knocked on his ass.
Master of self-promotion, pissing off people wherever he went…
He was insulting everyone in his path.
Love him or hate him; you most certainly can’t ignore him…
Reminds me of the two biggest UK wrestlers of the late ’70s & ’80s – Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.
Both gained quite a following: Big Daddy as the good guy and Giant Haystacks as the villain…
…who pissed everyone off and that everyone loved to hate.
And as Dan Kennedy says:
“If you’re not pissing someone off before lunchtime, you’re not doing much of anything”
If you want to stand out online in an overcrowded marketplace you need to stand for something…
And as Gary Bencivenga says:
“You’ll find that when you clearly stand for something, you’ll never stand alone.
